Covid Protocols and Masking

St. Paul's follows CDC guidelines, in consultation with local health experts, to determine appropriate Covid protocols for our communal life.
Using the Covid Community Spread Map provided by the CDC, Oklahoma County can be at a level of Low, Medium, or High. When community spread is at a Low or Medium masks are not required indoors. When community spread is at a High, masks are required while indoors. The Community Spread Map is updated each Thursday by 7pm Central Time and can be accessed below.
Data shows that a properly fitted Kn95 mask protects an individual, regardless of the masking of others. Kn95 masks are available in the Narthex (accessed through the main Cathedral doors) for anyone who wishes to wear one. The Health Team is available by request for those who would like to ensure their mask is fitted correctly.
Those who wish to be in a mask required space during worship are invited to sit in Dean Willey Hall (upstairs in the Education Building) where the services will be streamed. If you wish to do this, please notify an usher so that a member of the clergy will bring communion to those who desire it.
Until those under the age of 5 can be vaccinated, all who work with or are in close contact with that age group (in the Nursery and in the Undercroft for Church School) will be required to wear masks, regardless of age.
As always, the best way to combat Covid is to be vaccinated. If you need help getting vaccinated, please reach out to office staff at [email protected]
