Rally Day & Ministry Fair: A New Program Year Begins

There is something special about the beginning of a new program year at St. Paul’s—a chance to gather again, reconnect with one another, discover something new, and remember that each of us has a place in the life we share.
On Sunday, September 13, Rally Day returns to St. Paul’s, and this year it marks the beginning of something more: our year of Living a Faithful Life: Ancient Practices. Everyday Discipleship.
Throughout the coming year, we will explore six practices that have sustained Christian communities for generations: Worship, Prayer, Care, Service, Learning, and Rest. They are not simply programs to attend or another list of things to accomplish. Together, they offer a way of shaping our lives around God and practicing our faith in the midst of everyday life.
Rally Day is our invitation to begin.
Worship, Connect & Discover Your Place
Our regular Sunday worship schedule continues with Holy Eucharist at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., and 11:15 a.m. Between services, beginning at 10:10 a.m., Dean Willey Hall will come alive with our annual Ministry Fair.
Meet the people behind the ministries of St. Paul’s, learn more about the many ways our Cathedral worships, cares, serves, learns, and gathers, and discover where your own gifts might find a home. Whether you are ready to volunteer, curious about something new, or simply want to know more about the life of the Cathedral, come explore.

Something for the Whole Cathedral Family
The celebration extends into the East Garden, where there will be fun and special activities for children—including a bounce house—and opportunities for all ages to begin engaging with our new Living a Faithful Life practices.
And be sure to pick up your first Living a Faithful Life card. These weekly cards will offer simple, accessible practices to carry beyond Sunday and into the week ahead—small invitations to put faith into practice wherever life takes you.
A New Sunday Rhythm Begins at 4 p.m.
Rally Day will continue into the afternoon with the beginning of a beautiful new chapter in our worship life: Choral Evensong with Holy Eucharist at 4 p.m.
Beginning September 13, Evensong will be offered every Sunday at 4 p.m., creating a weekly space for Scripture, prayer, music, Sacrament, and rest. It is an invitation to experience worship in a different rhythm and to close the weekend by turning our hearts toward God. The Cathedral has previously announced September 13 as the beginning of this new weekly worship offering.
Then, on September 20, formation for all ages returns, offering even more opportunities to learn, wonder, ask questions, and grow together.
There is so much ahead at St. Paul’s this year, but Rally Day begins with a beautifully simple invitation:
