Walking the Mourner’s Path

Mondays, September 14–November 2 | Sun Dancer Library
Grief is a journey we were never meant to walk alone.

Walking the Mourner’s Path is an eight-week grief support program grounded in prayer, reflection, and the assurance of God’s presence in the midst of loss. Designed for those who have experienced the death of someone they love, this small-group journey creates a sacred and compassionate space to name grief, share stories, remember, and begin to discover a path forward.

Open to St. Paul’s members and the wider community, at St. Paul's, Walking the Mourner’s Path is facilitated by Deacon Tracy Anderson, Ann Baer, Jim McPhee, and Jani Hill. Together, participants walk alongside one another through a structured series of gatherings that honor both the deeply personal nature of grief and the comfort found in Christian community.

This year’s journey will conclude in a particularly meaningful way on All Souls’ Day, Monday, November 2, as participants are invited to join in St. Paul’s Feast of All Souls Requiem Mass, remembering before God those we love but see no longer.

Space is limited, and registration is required by Friday, September 11. To reserve your place or learn more, contact Deacon Tracy Anderson at deacontracy@stpaulsokc.org or call 405-235-3436 and ask to be connected with Deacon Tracy.

There is no timetable for grief. Wherever you are on the path, you do not have to walk it alone.
