Dean's Message for February 5, 2026

It is with deep gratitude and great excitement that I reflect on this moment in the life of our cathedral community. After a long season of prayerful discernment, listening, and conversation, we are delighted to welcome The Rev. Canon Dr. Tony Kroll as our new Canon and Senior Associate Priest of St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral.

Many of you have already had the opportunity to read Canon Tony’s letter of Introduction, and I hope you sensed in his words the depth of his pastoral heart, theological wisdom, and love for the Church. We are eager for him to begin this new chapter among us and to share in ministry, worship, teaching, and community life together.

This calling marks an important and hopeful step forward for St. Paul’s. I am profoundly thankful for the faithful leadership of our vestry, the care and discernment of our search process, and the Spirit’s clear guidance throughout. Please continue to hold Canon Tony and his family in your prayers as they prepare for this transition, and join me in offering a warm and generous welcome in the weeks ahead.
