Advent 2025

The Journey through Advent begins Sunday, November 30, 2025 at St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral! 

 Our theme for Advent 2025 is Defiant Hope: Rooted, Rising, Reaching. We’ll enter this sacred season through outreach, formation, tradition, and song, celebrating the hope that takes root, rises within us, and reaches into the world.

 Our Nativity Display is a New Tradition: Share your nativity sets with us!
Help us create a beautiful display of Nativity scenes this Advent season. Bring your Nativity set to be included in the display - starting Nov. 6 through Dec. 14. Drop off: Reception Area, Cathedral Office, or Narthex.

Hanging of the Greens: Saturday, November 29 at 11 a.m. in the Education Building. Decorate with us for the Advent Season!
We'll hang greens and other decor throughout the interior and exterior of St. Paul's. All ages welcome! Questions? Contact Ashley Ozan. 

Advent Event/Advent Wreath Making Advent Event: Sunday, November 30 at 10:10 a.m. in Dean Willey Hall. Celebrate and prepare for the Advent Season with make & take fresh Advent Wreaths, Advent Crafts, Fellowship & More. ($20 suggested donation for wreath). Questions? Contact Ashley Ozan.

Advent Readers: Sign up HERE - We need families/couples/singles at both the 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. services to read the advent readings at the beginning of the service. This can be split among family members or just one person from the family. Children encouraged to participate. Questions? Contact Ashley. Thank you in advance for your help!

Advent Outreach Event - Christmas in Watonga provides gifts benefitting the Children of Whirlwind Mission, Watonga on Sunday, December 7. Events begin at Whirlwind Mission of the Holy Family, Watonga, Oklahoma at 11 a.m. with Holy Eucharist, lunch, and a gift and santa celebration, ending by 2 p.m. Gifting is provided through an 'Angel Tree' with wish list items from children (based on age, gender) available in the Reception Area. Advent Quiet Day Retreat - Saturday, December 6 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. - All the details HERE. 

Christmas Pageant & St. Nicholas Reception: Two of the most cherished traditions at St. Paul's take place Sun., December 14. The pageant always needs readers, angels, barnyard animals, shepherds and of course all the main parts, too. Email Ashley to sign up for a part! *The Pageant has a required rehearsal and costuming Saturday, December 13, 9 a.m.

Please note on Wednesday, December 10, our 6 p.m. Advent Dinner will be a social time with a sock exchange and donation, and baking together for those in need!
