St. Paul's Book Club
St. Paul’s Book Club - Changing to Sunday afternoons starting April 25!
Come and join in as St. Paul’s launches a new book club facilitated by Aleithia Stephens. Books the group will be discussing will include both fiction and non-fiction and have some dimension of spirituality. The first book will be Dakota: A Spiritual Geography by Kathleen Norris (1993).
Kathleen Norris's book Dakota is a meditation on the human relationship with place: how individuals and communities are shaped by the landscapes we inhabit. In vivid prose, Norris captures the desolate beauty of the Great Plains, chronicles the challenges and joys of rediscovering small-town America, and draws comparisons between rural and monastic life. Copies are available in the Cathedral Bookstore.
St. Paul’s Book Club will resume weekly zoom meetings on Sundays at 4:00 pm, starting April 25. If you missed the first couple of meetings, this is a great time to catch up!
