Lenten Book Studies - Growing Deeper Together
This year, instead of our traditional Lenten Dinner Series, we are inviting the Cathedral community into small group book studies across the city throughout Lent.
Why? Because Lent is not simply a season we attend — it is a journey we undertake. In smaller circles of conversation, reflection, and prayer, we grow deeper in faith, closer to Jesus, and more honest about the work God is doing in us. As we focus on our Lenten theme, Hope That Tells the Truth, these groups create space for thoughtful engagement, meaningful dialogue, and shared spiritual growth. To sign up, email pjackson@stpaulsokc.org. Join a group! Walk the season together. Let Lent shape not only your schedule, but your soul. Options Include:
Taking Religion Seriously by Charles Murray
Tuesdays beginning February 24 | 1 - 2 p.m. | Parlor of Cathedral | Led by Allen and Kathy Bass | This book is the recounting of the author’s journey from agnosticism to Christian faith. There are no “fireworks” or “road to Damascus” type moments; just a simple, rational recounting of how he got from agnosticism to Christian belief.
