Both bread and wine are served at communion. During this season of coronavirus, each communicant should decide their preferred form of communion. You may receive bread only, bread and wine, or a contact-free blessing. For bread only, cross your arms over your chest after receiving the bread. If you choose to receive wine, you may consume the bread and then sip from the chalice, or extend your hands with the bread given to you to the chalice-bearer who will intinct, or dip, the bread into the wine and place it in your mouth. You may not intinct the bread yourself. Our tradition tells us that to receive communion in one kind (bread or wine) is to receive communion fully.
If you wish to refrain from communion, you may come forward to receive a contact free blessing. Cross your arms over your chest to indicate you would like a blessing. At this time, all are required to wear masks

What do you mean “livestreamed?”
Even the best technology sometimes doesn’t work perfectly. Sometimes this is an issue with our host sites Facebook or YouTube. If the livestream freezes or doesn’t air as it should on the platform you are watching, we encourage you to switch to another platform. If the Cathedral website freezes, go directly to the Cathedral’s YouTube or Facebook pages. I. Also know that the livestream is retained as a recorded video on the website.
If the livestream has problems, what can I do?
The Cathedral is continuing to be engaged in ministry. Our pastoral care, outreach, worship, and program ministries carry on, even if in different ways, and supporting Cathedral ministries is as important as ever. You can make your offering in any of these ways:Supporting the Cathedral
